Amit Chatterjee: Again, the fact that we are present across the process chain — puts us in a unique position to understand and offer integration of various technologies when the customer is setting up their project. Our experience of working in a global engineering network exposes us to the latest trends and best-practices – which we are able to bring to the table for our customers in India as well. We are currently working on a green-field biopharmaceutical facility, where our value-engineering and integration proposals allow the customer to reduce their capital investments significantly, and identify areas of major improvements in their process flow. Our optimized design and engineering will help the customer reduce their cost-of-operations. We have leveraged our expertise in building hybrid solutions, involving single-use and multi-use equipment, which helps in reducing downtime during product changeover and cut cleaning validation costs – while ensuring greater flexibility of operations, particularly in downstream processes. Our partners need not have to coordinate with tens of vendors and suppliers – as we are able to provide them answers to practically all their needs for their core processes and equipment. For equipment not in our scope, we are able to act as a consultant, and also integrate such equipment within the overall automation ambit designed and executed by us. Additionally, for their R&D lab and pilot plant, we are able to offer them cost-optimized and technically superior solutions including critical consumables like filters, bags, single-use bioreactors etc.
