What Customers Expect of O2 Sensors
Four main criteria had to be provided – sensors (to be used) had to be resistant to organic solvent vapours and moisture, measurement repeatability had to be ensured, minimum maintenance time had to be assured and reasonable cost of ownership had to be offered.
The Solution: In–Line Gas Detection
Based on our experience, we proposed inertisation control systems as described below.
- Measuring system in reactor — O2 sensor InPro 6800 G with Hastelloy C wetted parts, housing InFit 761 and multi-parameter transmitter M700
- Measuring system at the centrifuge — O2 sensor InPro 6800 G in combination with housing InFit 761 and transmitter M420
- For each of two auxiliary centrifuges — O2 sensor InPro 6800 G in combination with housing InFit 761 and multi-parameter transmitter M420
