Am 9. September 2020 erfolgte in Elsteraue die feierliche Grundsteinlegung einer neuen Produktionsanlage für Wachs- und Polymeremulsionen von Münzing. Die Pörner Ingenieurgesellschaft aus Grimma wurde als Generalplaner und Beschaffungsdienstleister sowie mit der Bauleitung beauftragt.
Mit 1. März 2020 hat die Pörner Gruppe ihr Portfolio mit dem Geschäftsbereich für wassertechnischen Anlagenbau in der Öl- und Gasindustrie erweitert. Das neue Kompetenz-Center „Pörner Water“ ergänzt das Leistungsspektrum um die industrielle Wasseraufbereitung von der Konzeptstudie über die Realisierung von Gesamtprojekten bis hin zu vorausschauender Wartung und Instandhaltung.

Petrochemistry. EDL gets order for a new plant unit from OMV
The OMV Refinery in Burghausen entrusted EDL with the engineering and construction of a new ISO C4 unit having an annual production capacity of 60,000 t. As of autumn 2020 the unit worth EUR 64 million will produce high-purity isobutene directly. A technology jointly developed by OMV and BASF will be applied – worldwide for the first time.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport initiates study for the production of renewable jet fuel from air. Rotterdam Airport and a European consortium led by EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft mbH signed a cooperation agreement that visions sustainable aviation.
