PROCESS MANAGEMENT ACADEMY (PMA) is a yearly organized face-to-face joint event of ARC Advisory Group and PROCESS held at Process Management Academy Europe. This year's PMA attracted close to 120 participants from Europe and Japan. On the afternoon of Monday, March 5th, in snowy Antwerp, workshops were held where participants discussed cyber security, process safety, brand protection and energy management. The next day, users and providers shared best and emerging practices in automation and manufacturing IT related to sustainability and safety. All presentations had sections on practical implementations, and attendees dynamically participated to discussions. Remote participants could follow the lectures via internet and participate in the question and answer sessions, using the real-time transmission by ARC Europe’s partner Process. PROCESS Worldwide partnered with ARC in the organisation of the event and provided a live broadcast of the main presentations as well as provided a discussion platform for the web–audience. With pictures, videos and statements from big and small players of the industry, the a whole bunch of existing news and features about the PMA 2012 on www.process-worldwide.com anytime soon. The recorded presentations are available online at www.process-management-academy.com, for a registration fee. Participants of the PMA 2012 have a free access to the presentations for a year.
