India: Disaster Major Fire at Indian Pharma City

On July 13, a major explosion at the Visakha Solvents plant in Ramky’s Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City in India left six factory workers with burn injuries. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

India – A major explosion occurred at Pharma City near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, India on Monday night. According to news reports, a huge fire followed multiple explosions at the Visakha Solvents plant in Ramky’s Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City. The fire and emergency service units were rushed to the spot and six workers at the unit have reported burn injuries. The official cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
