Bologna/Italy – At Pack Expo 2026, Ima Group will showcase its latest innovations in processing, packaging, end-of-line, automation, as well as digital solutions and customer services across the Pharmaceutical, Med-Tech, Food, Personal Care, E-Commerce and Labeling industries.
Under the theme "Step into Cognitive Manufacturing", Ima will present its vision of a new generation of manufacturing, where Artificial Intelligence, advanced Robotics, Digital Vision Systems and Human Expertise work together to create smarter, more connected and adaptive production environments. In this model, technology enhances human capabilities, enabling faster decisions, greater operational efficiency, improved quality control and continuous performance optimization throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Through live demonstrations, new machine launches and digital applications, visitors will experience how these technologies are being applied across multiple industries to improve productivity, flexibility and sustainability. The exhibition will also feature Ima Service solutions, including digital services, predictive maintenance, remote support and performance optimization tools designed to maximize equipment availability and support customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their production assets.
At Pack Expo 2026, attendees will have the opportunity to discover new machines, integrated production solutions and innovations developed by the main sectors of the Ima Group.
Pharma & Med-Tech
The Pharmaceutical and Medtech divisions of Ima Group and its specialists are glad to introduce Ima Pharma, the All-In-One supplier specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative machines and complete lines for the processing, medical assembly and packaging of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, as well as projects concerning digitalization, sustainability, and customer service solutions.

Meeting the Divisions at the show:
Ima Life, the division specializing in aseptic processing and freeze-drying solutions, will present Sensitive AP400 labelling solution, available with key features and design aspects that have been created to facilitate the operator’s tasks throughout the entire process, while ensuring the superior performance and versatility of a labeller that has already encountered widespread success in the pharmaceutical sector. Transparent on three sides, operators are always able to closely monitor the labelling process, and the large front panels provide excellent access for cleaning and maintenance. The sliding reel holder, at a convenient height of 790 mm from ground level, makes changeover operations comfortable and swift, and the labelling process runs uninterrupted increasing productivity.
Ima Safe announces its new state-of-the-art revolutionary electronic tablet counting system with product detection and single tablet rejection I-Scan technology. This cutting-edge sensor counts and detects damaged tablets or capsules prior to being filled into the bottle, ensuring the highest level of precision and accuracy. I-Scan’s new single tablet rejection system eliminates each damaged product detected, avoiding discarding multiple tablets or the filled bottle. Available in low to high-speed models, with compact footprints and quick changeover, I-Scan is the ideal tablet counting solution.

F600 reflects the long experience in the manufacturing of sachet packaging machines, combined with highly accurate dosing systems - the hallmark of the Ima Hassia range. These sachet machines are intended for the packaging of liquid-to-viscous products for the food industry. The range of possibilities and choice of output is extensive. Anything is possible with up to 16 tracks. Processing at speeds up to 105,600 sachets/hour, the F600 can be designed to comply with customer-specific or product-specific requirements.
The Ima Coffee SR6K is a flexible capsule filling and sealing solution developed for coffee, tea and soluble products. With 6 lanes of production, it ensures top versatility for high-quality American-style drip coffee capsules. The mechanical stations are moved by a camshaft system. The coffee is dosed through an auger system, which is driven by a brushless motor. Prearrangement for nitrogen tunnel. In-line weighing system. Capsules can be closed at the top with aluminium film, a micro-perforated film, filter paper, a triplex-coupled film, a PP film or a compostable lid. Filters and diaphragms can be inserted into the capsule and on its bottom.

A complete Confectionery packaging line for small bars, featuring Ima Delta Systems advanced row removal system for products distribution, seamlessly integrated with the Eagle HFFS wrapper for high-performance individual flow wrapping. Flow packs dosing is managed by an Ima Ilapak WA Pro 12 compact and high-speed multi-head weighing solution specifically designed for delicate products, ensuring outstanding accuracy, gentle product handling, operational flexibility, and hygienic performance. The line is then completed by a brand-new compact and versatile stand-up pouch machine, the Doytronic 60 by Ima Ilapak, capable of producing attractive multipacks in reclosable Doypacks, delivering enhanced efficiency, strong shelf appeal, and greater consumer convenience.
A complete packaging line for confectionery, snacks and bakery products featuring a continuous-motion vertical bagger - Ima Ilapak Vegatronic 6000 DZ - designed to deliver high-speed performance and exceptional pack style versatility, ideal for demanding packaging environments and engineered for confectionery, snacks, bakery products and biscuits. The line is then completed by an Ima Ilapak IP 3000, a fully servo-driven case packer designed to efficiently count and load bags by gravity into cases or trays.
Personal Care
At Pack Expo 2026, Ima will present a dedicated Personal Care corner showcasing the Group’s technologies for skin care and make-up, personal hygiene, body and hair care, and fragrances. Designed to offer a complete overview, the area brings together processing, primary and secondary packaging, and end-of-line solutions tailored to the cosmetic market.
Among the technologies on show, Omas Tecnosistemi will present Turbomix, a complete turbo, under-vacuum emulsifier with homogenizer in coaxial version ensuring accurate creamy product processing. Designed for easy cleaning and maintenance, it features a user-friendly touchscreen panel. It comes complete with heating and vacuum systems, a lifting top cover and tilting device. Different options are available such as: product recirculation device, weight control using load cells, heating system using steam, a tank with increased pressure to facilitate product discharge and a pre-melter vessel. Turbomix Series machines are available with tank sizes from 3 up to 5,000 litres.
Also on display, the Comadis C1290, building on many years of experience in the tube filling industry. Developed from the successful C1090, a benchmark model sold worldwide for a wide range of applications, the C1290 maintains the flexibility that has made its predecessor suitable for different configurations, while introducing a number of improvements to further enhance its operation. Among these, tube cleaning is performed at a dedicated station, while batch data can be collected via USB. On request, the machine can also provide continuous monitoring of the tube folding and crimping areas.
E-Commerce
Ima E-Commerce offers automatic packaging machines dedicated to the E-Commerce, E-Fulfillment and Intralogistics sectors. The technologies developed by the Division feature a high level of modularity and flexibility and include automatic box forming, right-size box closing and case lidding machines.
At the Ima booth the Division will be joined by IPG, Ima E-Commerce’s exclusive distributor for North America. IPG provides packaging machinery, water-activated tapes, protective packaging and other materials for shipping and fulfillment applications.
The Ima E-Commerce team will also be present at The Sustainable Suite booth S-4374. Wind Grip takes it one step further with a fully electric, air-free application concept designed for flexible and efficient labeling. On display, a new configuration featuring a Sato print engine.
Ion Swing: electro-adhesion, now in motion. Ion rethinks label handling with electro-adhesion technology: no compressed air, no vacuum and no fans required to hold the label. Ion Swing brings this technology into motion, combining stable label control with the flexibility to perform both side and top applications within a single solution. On display, a configuration featuring a Zebra print engine.
