The acquisition has helped the Indian subsidiary in many ways, which includes the implementation of best production practices such as – lean enterprise, six sigma, 5S to Indian production set-up.

Since India is a low-cost production country, we would like to optimise our production by keeping a base here. However, our intention is not to make products cheaper. We would instead concentrate on high-quality products, so that our customers get benefited from those. Customer satisfaction is the most important thing for us. Customers should get the most reliable and high-quality products.

SHYAM WARIALANI: Baumer Technologies India produces mechanical process instruments since many years. We lack our strength in offerings of electronic process instruments. This deal brings an excellent business growth opportunity for us. In addition, Baumer brings the tag ‘Original Bourdon.’ This will further strengthen our mechanical product portfolio.

WARIALANI: Baumer Technologies India has a strong sales and distribution network in this country and middle-east, which is the most important strength that it brings to Baumer Group. Also, a full-fledged manufacturing facility of process instruments at Vapi is another strong point that the subsidiary is bringing.
