Antibiotics Production and Packaging – The Tasks...

To safely package NCPC’s powdered antibiotics in sterile glass containers, each of the ten lines had to carry out four distinct tasks:

• container cleaning;

• drying and sterilisation;

• filling and closing;

• and the application of an aluminium cap.

By joining forces at different sites, Bosch was able to offer the required equipment for the entire production and packaging process. The four different machines were constructed to suit NCPC’s exact needs.

Global Challenges Call For Global Solutions

The teams of Bosch in Hangzhou, China and Crailsheim, Germany teamed up and divided the work between the two production sites to complete this challenging project. The cleaning machine, sterilisation tunnel and capping machine were supplied by the Hangzhou production site. The AFG filling machine does not belong to the machinery portfolio produced in Hangzhou. It was therefore delivered all the way to Shijiazhuang from Bosch’s production site in Crailsheim.

How Project Management Works for Pharmaceutical Plants
