The Interpack 2026 once again serves as a key platform for innovations in processing and packaging technology. At this year’s edition, Marchesini presents a broad portfolio of solutions for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, with a focus on aseptic filling, sustainability, robotics, and artificial intelligence applications. Visitors will be guided through a pathway highlighting technologies and services designed to meet the needs of the market.

Modular Filling Solution for Non-Injectable Liquids

One of the main innovations is the modular “ORBITA‑L”-system for filling and capping non‑injectable liquid products. The machine integrates two key technological features:

  • a magnetic transport system enabling 100 % in‑process weight control (100 % IPC),
  • a servo-driven unit for optimising dip-tube tightening during the capping phase.

The system is being presented for the first time and is accessible only by appointment during the exhibition.

Aseptic Technologies for Injectable Products

A dedicated area highlights solutions from the Aseptic Business Unit, developed in collaboration with AST. Exhibits include:

  • a compact system for automated filling and closing of vials, syringes, and cartridges,
  • a monobloc machine for syringe inspection, equipped with integrated denesting and renesting units.

These technologies are designed to meet stringent requirements for sterile manufacturing and process reliability.

Sustainability Across the Value Chain

A large section of the booth is dedicated to sustainability. The focus is on machinery and lines capable of handling:

  • paper-based materials,
  • mono‑material plastics,
  • recyclable and recycled‑content materials,
  • aluminum.

The development of these solutions is driven in part by European regulatory frameworks such as the PPWR Regulation guidelines. A series of expert talks at the booth will address regulatory developments, including the progressive replacement of PVC and the introduction of recyclable mono‑material alternatives for blister and thermoformed packaging.

A fully integrated and robotised high-speed line for polypropylene blister packaging, paired with a cartoner equipped with a new automatic carton magazine, will also be on display. The line includes an AI‑based line clearance system developed by SEA Vision, a company specialised in vision systems for product traceability.

Remanufacturing and Lifecycle Extension

Beyond materials, Marchesini’s sustainability efforts also address prolonging the lifecycle of machines. The company’s subsidiary Rinova was created to give new life to original Marchesini models through a complete remanufacturing process. This will be showcased at the booth: a refurbished cartoner will be displayed, assembled only up to 60 %. During the exhibition days, the Rinova team will continue the assembly directly on-site, bringing the workshop to the fair and showing visitors how the remanufacturing process takes place.

Solutions for Cosmetic Packaging

In the cosmetics segment, Marchesini Group Beauty will present two lines for packaging liquid products:

  • a system combining a robotic feeder with a flexible filling machine for various bottle formats as the result of close collaboration between Axomatic and Vibrotech,
  • an automatic tube filling and dosing machine for plastic tubes, paired with an automatic cartoner from V2 engineering.

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

Several models from the Next Generation Robotics platform will be unveiled at the fair, featuring modular, multi‑axis robotic systems equipped with advanced machine vision and AI deep learning algorithms. These systems are intended to:

  • adapt dynamically to increasingly complex production environments,
  • manage unstructured scenarios,
  • operate with high precision even under variable and non‑deterministic conditions.

An interactive installation showcases all robotic applications developed over the years. The visitors will be able to explore the “Morpheus” predictive maintenance solution and the services available through the customer portal (online digital machine documentation, service platform for managing support requests, interactive spare parts manual), and the augmented reality format‑change system.
