Uzbekistan: Gas-to-Liquid Technology Topsoe Awarded Contract for GTL-Project in Uzbekistan
Topsoe announced that their synthesis gas technology has been chosen for Oltin Yo’l — a 38,000 barrels per day gas-to-liquids (GTL) energy plant in Uzbekistan.

Lyngby/Denmark — Topsoe will deliver proprietary equipment for two synthesis gas trains, each including autothermal reformers (ATRs), waste heat boilers, steam drums, CTS burners, refractory materials, and HTZR target tiles.
Oltin Yo’l, which is owned by Uzbekneftegaz, will produce synthetic diesel, jet fuel, and naphtha based on local natural gas.

Technip To Work on Usbekian GTL Plant
Topsoe’s synthesis gas technology is the first step of the Sasol’s Slurry Phase Distillate Process. Sasol Technology has been appointed single point licensor, and Hyundai Engineering is the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partner.
