Management Strategy Shell Appoints Huibert Vigeveno as Downstream Director

Huibert Vigeveno will succeed John Abbott and will be taking charge of his post from January 1, 2020. He will also become a member of the Executive Committee at Shell.

The Netherlands – Royal Dutch Shell (Shell) has recently announced the appointment of Huibert Vigeveno as Downstream Director with effect from January 1, 2020.

In his new role, Huibert will become a member of the Executive Committee and will succeed John Abbott. John will remain available to Huibert and the Executive Committee to assist with the transition until March 31, 2020 and will then leave the company after 38 years’ distinguished service.
