Repsol has begun industrial-scale production of 100 % renewable gasoline at its Tarragona complex in Spain. With the help of renewable gasoline, net CO2 emissions can be slashed by more than 70 % as compared to conventional gasoline.

Total Energies and Masdar have entered into an agreement to establish a 50:50 joint venture with an aim to accelerate renewable energy across Asia. Under the joint venture, both the companies will merge their onshore renewable activities in nine countries across Asia.

Repsol has launched its second 100 % renewable fuel plant on the iberian peninsula, located at its Puertollano industrial complex in Spain. The project is expected to produce 200,000 tons per year.

Under an agreement signed between Topsoe and Bioveritas, both the parties will help fuel producers to license Topsoe’s Hydroflex technology alongside the Bioveritas Process to produce renewable fuels from second-generation feedstocks.

De Nora has plans to purchase BW Renewables’ BW Water. Post the acquisition, De Nora will take over BW Water’s business including its existing operations – comprising an engineering hub in the Philippines and two manufacturing centers in Germany and Malaysia.

Total Energies and Holcim have inaugurated Europe’s largest floating solar power plant in Obourg, Belgium. With a capacity of 31 MW, the plant’s renewable energy will be consumed by Holcim’s industrial facilities.

Goldwin, Neste, Idemitsu Kosan, and Toray Industries have developed a supply chain for nylon fiber made from renewable raw materials. The nylon fiber produced through this project will be used by Goldwin for a part of The North Face products in August 2026.

Under a long-term strategic alliance between Bayer and BP, both the companies will work together to jointly scale the crop camelina. The collaboration aims to further develop a reliable intermediate oilseeds market to meet the growing demand for biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel markets.
