Honeywell’s modular Ecofining process technology, specialized pumps, compressors, and integrated control and safety systems have been selected for Acelen Renewables' greenfield site in Bahia, Brazil. The site will produce sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel.

Repsol has begun industrial-scale production of 100 % renewable gasoline at its Tarragona complex in Spain. With the help of renewable gasoline, net CO2 emissions can be slashed by more than 70 % as compared to conventional gasoline.

Total Energies and Masdar have entered into an agreement to establish a 50:50 joint venture with an aim to accelerate renewable energy across Asia. Under the joint venture, both the companies will merge their onshore renewable activities in nine countries across Asia.

Repsol has launched its second 100 % renewable fuel plant on the iberian peninsula, located at its Puertollano industrial complex in Spain. The project is expected to produce 200,000 tons per year.

Under a deal signed between Lhyfe and Messer, Messer will acquire a 30 % stake in four of Lhyfe’s hydrogen production sites in France and Germany. Apart from this, the partners will also enter into a 10-year-contract for the supply of renewable hydrogen.

Andritz and RAG Austria recently hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for Austria’s largest green hydrogen plant. The project is expected to produce more than 1,500 tons of green hydrogen annually using solar power as its primary renewable energy source.
