Repsol has begun industrial-scale production of 100 % renewable gasoline at its Tarragona complex in Spain. With the help of renewable gasoline, net CO2 emissions can be slashed by more than 70 % as compared to conventional gasoline.

Total Energies and Masdar have entered into an agreement to establish a 50:50 joint venture with an aim to accelerate renewable energy across Asia. Under the joint venture, both the companies will merge their onshore renewable activities in nine countries across Asia.

Lummus Technology has invested in Innovent Renewables with an aim to accelerate the deployment of its proprietary tire recycling technology. Innovent’s technology is capable of converting end of life tires into high-value products such as tire pyrolysis oil, recovered carbon black, pyrolysis gas and steel.

Fluor Corporation has been awarded a feed contract by America First Refining to carry out front end engineering and design for USA’s first new refinery to be developed in more than 50 years.
