Thyssenkrupp Uhde’s Envinox technology has been installed at the specialty chemicals company Arxada in Switzerland. The unique technology is expected to reduce the chemical firm’s annual emissions of laughing gas by at least 98 %, thus saving up to 600,000 tons of CO2-equivalents annually.

With the help of this technology, Phigenesis will recycle waste plastics to manufacture petrochemical feedstock materials. The project will significantly increase the current chemical recycling capacity in Europe.

Ineos Styrolution has decided to go ahead and invest in Europe’s first polystyrene advanced recycling pilot plant in Swindon, UK. Partnering with Recycling Technologies, the company is all set to establish the project by 2022 which will be based on Recycling Technologies’ fluidised bed reactor technology.
