Chemicals company BASF is starting production of renewable ammonia in Ludwigshafen, making it a pioneer in Central Europe. Two new products based on green hydrogen will be used as sustainable alternatives in the ammonia value chain.

Toyo Engineering Corporation has licensed its proprietary urea granulation technology for Kazazot Prime’s urea plant in Kazakhstan. Scheduled to be completed in 2029, Toyo will be responsible for licensing, the PDP, procurement of major equipment, and provision of technical services.
