BASF expands its capacities for high molecular weight polyisobutene (HM PIB) to support growth of global market. Therefore BASF has acquired intellectual property for a new manufacturing process of high molecular weight polyisobutene from Lanxess.
Under the terms of the agreement, the newly created joint venture firm AW Shipping will transport LPG cargoes and petroleum products, sourced from Adnoc and global suppliers, to Wanhua Group’s manufacturing bases in China and around the world.
