BASF and OMV have worked together on an innovative and sustainable technology for producing high-purity isobutene. The novel technology has now been installed at OMV´s new ISO C4 plant in Burghausen, Germany.

The new compressed biogas plant will be set up at Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, India and will use Praj’s Rengas technology to produce compressed biogas (CBG) from rice straw. The project is expected to process 35000 MT of rice straw as feedstock in order to generate 5250 MT of CBG every year.
The new green ammonia facility will make use of Haldor Topsoe’s proprietary solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC) to produce green hydrogen from 100 MWs of renewable electricity. The project is expected to be operational by 2024.
