Dipharma’s new production line at the cGMP pilot plant will help the company to double its capacity to process projects in the fields of generics and CDMO. Located in the firm’s Mereto di Tomba facility in Italy, the pilot plant can produce batches ranging from 5 to 50 kilograms.

Technip Energies has won a large contract, which is between 250 million euros and 500 million euros of revenue, for Ineos’ Project One ethane cracker in Belgium. The 1,450 kta cracker will be using Technip Energies’ technologies to reduce its CO2 footprint by less than 50 %.

Lummus Technology’s Novolen PP technology has been selected by Lihuayi Weiyuan Chemical Co. for its new polypropylene plant in Shandong Province, China. The company will also carry out basic design engineering, training and services for the project.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lyondell Basell and 23 Oaks Investments, a solution provider in the upcycling of PCR plastic waste, will establish a joint venture called Source One Plastics. The JV will aim to develop an advanced plastic waste sorting and recycling facility in Germany which will produce processed waste for Lyondell Basell’s new advanced recycling plant in Wesseling, Germany.
