Adnoc has partnered with Siemens Energy to co-develop blockchain-based low-CO2 energy certificates. This solution will help to certify the carbon intensity of a range of products from Adnoc including Murban crude, ammonia, and aviation fuels.

The consortium comprising Air Liquide, Chevron Corporation, Lyondell Basell, and Uniper will conduct a joint study to evaluate the development of a hydrogen and ammonia production facility along the U.S. Gulf Coast. Mintal Hydrogen has selected Topsoe to supply technology for the first dynamic green ammonia plant in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China. The unit is expected to produce 390,000 tons green ammonia annually.

Under an agreement signed between both the parties, Neste will supply more than 1,000,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel to the Air France-KLM airline over a period of eight years. Claimed to be one of the largest SAF agreements of its kind in the aviation industry, the sustainable fuel is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80 % as compared to the traditional fossil jet fuel.

Air Liquide has plans to develop three new plants for supplying ultra-high purity industrial gases to two of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers. The plants are expected to produce a total of up to 2 billion Nm3 per year of ultra-pure nitrogen, oxygen as well as argon and will be operational by 2024.

Perstorp is working on an innovative project which will assist the company to make use of wastewater from a nearby municipal treatment plant for its production operations in Stenungsund, Sweden. The project is expected to save 1.1 billion liters of fresh water annually.
