Air Liquide will be using its new cracking technology in the development of an ammonia cracking pilot plant in Belgium. The technology enables the conversion of ammonia into hydrogen, which can then be transported over long distances.

Nova Chemicals has plans to build its first mechanical recycling facility in Connersville, Indiana, USA. The facility is expected to process post-consumer plastic films to produce over 100 million pounds of the company’s Syndigo recycled polyethylene by 2026.

HIF Global has chosen Johnson Matthey and Honeywell to conduct preliminary engineering for developing its first SAF facility in the USA. On completion, the facility is expected to produce 11,000 barrels per day of e-SAF.

Evonik has plans to invest in a pilot electrolyzer at its Herne site in Germany. The project aims to produce green hydrogen as a starting product for isophorone diamine. This new electrolysis technology will also be researched by Siemens for industrial usage.

Stamicarbon has secured its second license and process design package contract to design a 4000 MTPD melt and granulation plant in Sub-Saharan Africa for the same customer. Both the plants will be located inside a world-scale integrated ammonia and urea complex which is expected to have a capacity of 4,600 MTPD of ammonia and 8,000 MTPD of urea in two production trains.

Thyssenkrupp Uhde has entered into an agreement with Ark Energy to deliver a feasibility study for the Han-Ho H2 Hub project which aims to produce green ammonia. Thyssenkrupp Uhde’s proprietary Rhamfs methodology will be used for the project.

Stiphout’s facility in the Netherlands has an annual processing capacity equivalent to the amount of plastic packaging waste generated by over 500,000 Dutch citizens per year. With this acquisition, Lyondell Basell aims to strengthen its existing assets in the Netherlands and Germany.

Pacific Avenue Capital Partners will acquire three of the resin product lines of Total Energies which have been developed by Cray Valley. The move is expected to assist Cray Valley focus on its global specialty C4 and pure-monomer resin businesses.

Air Liquide will offer a customized solution to Verallia’s glass production plant in Pescia, Italy. The solution aims at reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption at the site. The firm will also build and operate for Verallia a new generation onsite oxygen production unit in Pescia, Italy.

Dustcontrol has plans to showcase its cyclone-based dust extractors and air cleaners at a soon to be held trade show for the food and drink processing, packaging and logistics industries in the UK. Live demo of a stainless-steel industrial vacuum with Hepa-13 filtration will also be exhibited at the fair.
