PROCESS: What safety features does it offer?

DR. JENS MEYER: Besides preventing user mistakes, there are even more features that ensure the highest level of safety and reliability. One common mistake during daily integrity testing is that operators forget to firmly attach tubing with the self-closing quick connectors to the test system. Due to the self-closing mechanism, the test line is closed when an integrity test starts. Because there is no pressure decay or detectable bubble point at this point, the unit will then show a passed integrity test although the filter housing has not actually been connected.

Sartocheck 4 Plus eliminates this problem by enabling users to program three additional safety parameters like the minimum diffusion rate, the minimum volume during testing and the minimum flow rate during the bubble point test. By using these parameters, the unit will immediately detect that no filter housing has been connected and display and/or print a warning message.

PROCESS: How is your product doing in the Asian market, especially in India?
