Vacuum conveying is, by nature, completely dust-free, since any dust clouds formed by the process are immediately sucked in: Vacuum conveying uses negative pressure, so that the material flow cannot leave the transportation hose or pipe. Various adapter systems can be used to provide an air tight seal at the discharge so that no material contaminates the environment at all. Therefore, even extremely fine dusts like toner powder and palladium ash are conveyable.
Conductive Modular Concept
The light, modular concept allows for the combination of other security equipment like powder locks to the unit. With a conductive filter housing and an assembling with a central grounding connection, the conveyor can be configured for the use in Ex-areas. The modular design allows for the use of different filter materials and types too, including conductive ones. Even the suction hoses contain a conductive wire throughout for stability, but also to absorb the static electricity, eliminating the hazard of dust explosions.
Multijector vacuum conveyors are able to fully integrate with many other powder handling solutions. A special material feeding elbow can be directly attached to a Big-Bag Unloading System.
Optimal Material Flow
Any standard vacuum conveyor can be transformed into a ConWeigh-system, if necessary. This combination of conveying and weighing can be achieved by mounting the separator into a force-compensating frame. The incoming product is then gravimetrically measured by the load cells. Next to the optimisation of residuals and dilute-phase control, this control system is able to save up to 256 different powder types; meaning that even the most complex of recipes are able to be conveyed. Alternatively, this ConWeigh system is also able to communicate with a master process control system. Further adaptations and combinations are available for uses in hazardous areas.
Continuous Conveying
Apart from the well-known batch conveying of materials, it is possible to continuously convey powders, bulks and solids with the Multijector technology, by using a combination of two stainless steel separator containers. When put into use, this design is able to reach extraordinary conveying heights and distances.
If a production process requires a constant product supply, outfitting the Multijector conveyor with a continuous discharge module, such as a powder lock, can make sense. As with all other Multijector conveyors this continuous vacuum system can be combined with a variety of other devices, such as bin unloading systems, metal detectors, sifters, mixers, and grinding mills, to name a few.
Current transporting capacity diagrams and conveying performance data for products like manganese dioxide, flame soot, calcium carbonate, sulfur, and PTFE powder can be obtained from the manufacturer.
Flexible, clean and long-lasting: modular vacuum conveyors allow for versatile applications, even in hazardous areas, easy product change and cleaning, as well as the conveying of critical substances like dye powders, granulates, flakes and others. ●
