The company’s major part of the revenue comes from the automotive industry contributing almost 27 per cent of the company’s revenue. “However, cement and infrastructure industries are also equally important sectors for the company as they are growing at a fast pace. Therefore, these industries are also equally important to the company,” mentions Arora. As many manufacturing plants are going through expansion and upgradation, the company helps these plants to automate their processes with its innovative products and solutions.
“The renewable energy sector is also witnessing growth as the government aims to increase the capacity of the renewable energy up to 20 GW by 2020. Therefore, this also is an area of focus for us,” Arora continues.
The company is also focusing on other businesses such as warehouse management and parking management with its RFID systems. In addition to this, Turck India Automation also serves customers from myriad sectors, such as Bosch, Dr Reddy‘s Laboratory, Cipla, Bayer, BASF, BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, HPCL, etc.
Like presenting the latest innovations to the market and focusing on expansion, the company also believes in spreading knowledge to the next generation. It provides support to under graduate engineering students from multiple academic institutes for their projects. In the last couple of years, many students of renowned engineering colleges of Pune have completed their projects on Turck RFID and Fieldbus technologies. The company also helps these young minds in terms of providing the required hardware and technical inputs.
“Recently, Turck has provided its RFID systems to one of the reputed training institute in Vadodara to train professionals, who are already working in industrial environment but still require technical knowledge of Fieldbus and RFID system,” averred Arora.
The company also works together with Automation Industry Association (AIA) for campus connect program. “The company believes in giving back to the society. This is the form in which we pay our contribution,” concluded Arora.
