Solutions for Continuous Mixers

Continuous mixers and other equipment require accurate and continuous feeding. AzoDos equipment reliably delivers a continuous stream of material at the mass flowrate specified by the recipe. Hoppers can be refilled at any time: the control system maintains the previous flowrate until refilling is finished. Continuous systems offer fast response, thanks to the smaller quantities of material in motion, but are more complex from an engineering point of view. The new generation of AzoCont control systems features an intuitive user interface which promotes safe and easy operation.

It is often the case that a continuous mixing process requires so many ingredients that it becomes physically impossible to position all of these above the inlet. In such cases it is possible to use a hybrid system incorporating batchwise vacuum weighing or container systems. Typically these are used to produce a premix which is then fed to a continuous dosing station.
