Dr. Mike Enskat: Recent geopolitical tensions have highlighted how exposed fossil fuel–based systems are to price volatility and supply disruptions. Renewable energy is not a silver bullet, but it is a central part of building a more secure and resilient energy system. It is increasingly cost-competitive, domestically available, and less exposed to geopolitical shocks.
