The fully automated DustView II form Palas enables a fast and exact measurement of even smallest propensities of a powder to form airborne dust. The material is released from a small container, free falls a defined distance and impacts on the bottom of the device.

The DustView has been used for the last 15 years and has now been modernized thoroughly. Now, measurements can be carried out fully automatically within 40 seconds and displayed on a touch screen, which has an integrated data logger that enables intuitive handling by means of the clearly structured graphical user interface.

Previous measurements can be recalled at any time. Up to ten measurements can be compared with one another. These new functions allow for the quick generation of reproducible analyses and the printing of measurement reports.
