Siemens Energy’s PEM electrolysis technology has been selected by Cepsa for producing green hydrogen at its La Rábida Energy Park in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva), southern Spain. The project is part of Cepsa’s wider plans of developing 2 GW of capacity by 2030, one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe.

Carbon Clean has achieved a fabrication milestone on the Flagshipone project which is claimed to be Europe’s largest e-methanol plant and Ørsted’s largest commercial-scale Power-to-X facility. The project is expected to supply up to 55,000 tonnes of e-methanol per year to the shipping industry.

BASF has plans to expand its advanced additives plant at its Nanjing site in China. The expansion will include a production line, for high-performance Controlled Free Radical Polymerization dispersants, with state-of-the-art production processes.

The existing 3M facility in Valley, Nebraska will be expanded by 90,000-square-foot post the expansion phase. The move will increase the plant's manufacturing capacity of personal safety products.
