OQ Chemicals has resumed operations at its Oberhausen and Marl plants in Germany following an unpredictable shutdown. The firm overcame a disruption at a raw material supplier's synthesis gas plant.

Under the terms of the agreement, Inox Air Products will supply green hydrogen to Asahi India Glass’ greenfield float glass facility in Rajasthan, India. With a capacity to generate up to 190 tons of green hydrogen per annum through the electrolysis process, the project is expected to be India’s first ever green hydrogen plant for the float glass industry.

Equinor has awarded Aker Solutions with a EPCIC-contract to upgrade the wastewater treatment plant facilities and lower the environmental impact of the Mongstad refinery situated in Norway.

Hydrogen will be produced by electrolyzers at the pilot plant which is situated in Loviisa, Finland. The total R&D cost of the pilot project is around 17 million euros and is scheduled to be commissioned in late 2025.
