BIM Technology Delivers a Green and Smart Cement Factory

Citic Heavy Industries was awarded a contract by Fujian Jianfu Cement to develop a green, smart cement factory in Yongan, Fujian, China. For this, the company used Bentley’s collaborative BIM technology to integrate 3D parametric design of the main equipment, perform construction simulation, and generate a full-process, green cement production plant with intelligent controls. Itwin Services were also used to establish a digital twin which helped to monitor the assets, thus, saving 2 million dollars in equipment maintenance costs.
