Water, Wastewater Solutions BW Renewables to Sell BW Water to Italian Firm De Nora

De Nora has plans to purchase BW Renewables’ BW Water. Post the acquisition, De Nora will take over BW Water’s business including its existing operations – comprising an engineering hub in the Philippines and two manufacturing centers in Germany and Malaysia.

Mapletree Business City/Singapore – BW Renewables has entered into a binding agreement to sell BW Water to Industrie De Nora (De Nora), an Italian multinational listed on Euronext Milan, specializing in electrochemistry, water treatment systems and sustainable solutions. The transaction is expected to close on 1 July 2026, pending regulatory approvals and satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Founded in 2019, BW Water has grown from a start-up into a leading global provider of full-service water and wastewater solutions across nine countries across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Following completion, the entirety of BW Water’s business including its existing operations – comprising an engineering hub in the Philippines and two manufacturing centers in Germany and Malaysia – will be acquired by De Nora, providing continuity for the teams, customers and project partners.

BW Group will continue to be involved in the water space through BW Elara, a joint venture between BW Group and BW Offshore focused on developing floating desalination solutions leveraging BW Water’s desalination expertise.
