BASF has plans to divest its shares in the two joint venture companies BASF Markor Chemical Manufacturing (Xinjiang) Co. and Markor Meiou Chemical (Xinjiang) Co. in Korla, China.

AFC Energy has designed, built and commissioned the cracker demonstration plant which will deliver 140 tonnes of fuel cell grade hydrogen per annum. The demonstration is claimed to be the world’s largest ‘ammonia to hydrogen’ modular cracker demonstration in operation.

Plug Power has re-started operations at its existing hydrogen plant in Tennessee, USA. With this move, the firm has begun producing about ten tons per day of liquid hydrogen.
