Ornx Green Hydrogen has selected KBR for carrying out the pre-front-end engineering design of a low-cost ammonia project in the Laâyoune region of Morocco. The project is expected to produce approximately 560,000 metric tons per year of low-cost ammonia and utilize about 900 MW of electrolyzer capacity.

Under a MOU signed between Covestro, Fertiglobe, and MB Energy, all the parties will explore collaboration across the ammonia value chain in Germany and Europe. Fertiglobe will also explore the potential supply of ammonia through an import terminal which will be built and be operated by MB Energy.

Plug Power has secured an order to supply a 50-MW electrolyzer for Orica's Hunter Valley Hydrogen Hub in New South Wales, Australia. The project is claimed to be the largest green hydrogen project in Australia to reach final investment decision.

Demeter Energy is advancing plans to develop a commercial-scale biomethanol production and carbon capture facility in Manatee County, Florida, USA. The project is expected to convert sustainably sourced biomass into approximately 100,000 metric tons of low-carbon biomethanol annually while capturing and permanently sequestering approximately 200,000 metric tons of biogenic CO₂ each year.

BASF’s new acid chlorides and chloroformates production plant is a fully modernized plant located at its Ludwigshafen Verbund site in Germany. The low three-digit million-euro investment includes a fundamental renewal of the production infrastructure for acid chlorides and chloroformates and increases production capacity at the site by approximately 30 %.

The technology boasts of multiple advantages over conventional steam methane reforming processes.

Topsoe and Sasol will provide its gas-to-liquid synfuels technology with Topsoe’s hydrogen production, gas reforming and hydroprocessing solutions, integrated with Sasol’s Fischer-Tropsch and treatment technologies for Sustaero’s SAF Project.
