Repsol has partnered with Enerkem and Agbar under the Ecoplanta project to establish a waste to chemicals plant capable of processing around 400,000 tons of non-recyclable municipal solid waste from its surrounding regions and producing 220,000 tons of methanol.

Under the strategic supply chain partnership, the MOL Group and PRS will work together to deliver packaged polyethylene and polypropylene created from reusable pallets at MOL’s sites in Tiszaújváros, Hungary and Slovnaft in Slovakia.
