Metso’s new pilot plant has recently been launched in Frankfurt, Germany. The Circored pilot plant enables continuous pre-reduction using hydrogen as the sole reducing agent and integrates pre-heating, reduction, gas cleaning, and recirculation systems for hydrogen and dust, and features electric heaters to support nearly zero-carbon operation.

Under a 20-year on-site gas supply agreement signed between Inoxap and Premier Energies, Inoxap will install and commission a cryogenic Air Separation Unit. The new unit is expected to supply 7000 nm3/h of gaseous nitrogen of 5N grade, 250 nm3/h of ultra-high purity gaseous oxygen of 6N grade, along with some additional liquid products to Premier Energies’ solar cell greenfield manufacturing facility in India.
