Vega’s sensor solutions are being supplied to Nordex Electrolyzers’ 500-kW prototype for producing green hydrogen. The prototype can produce over 10 kilograms of hydrogen per hour and is installed in a modular container system.

Under a framework agreement signed between Uniper and Thyssenkrupp Uhde, Uniper has secured license packages for the use of Thyssenkrupp Uhde’s ammonia cracking technology. The agreement covers up to six large-scale plants with a total capacity of 7,200 metric tons of ammonia per day.

The green hydrogen plant is being developed at Taguatinga and will be powered by a photovoltaic plant in order to support the decarbonization of sectors that are difficult to electrify.
