Johnson Matthey’s technologies have been chosen by Phelan Green Hydrogen for its electro-sustainable aviation fuel facility in Western Cape, South Africa. On completion, the project is expected to be one of the world’s first commercial-scale E-SAF production facilities.
Under an agreement with First Ammonia, Topsoe will provide its ammonia synthesis technology for the company’s green ammonia production facility in Victoria, Texas, USA. Commercial operations of the project is expected to begin in 2029.
