Chevron Commences LNG Production at Wheatstone

Chevron Corporation has recently announced that it has started producing liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the Wheatstone Project in Western Australia. The first cargo is on track and will be shipped in the coming weeks. The company has plans to export 8.9 million metric tons of LNG per year to customers in Asia. The first cargo is expected to be shipped in the coming weeks.
