Hyflexfuel is an EU funded research project which has produced biocrude from various biomasses. The Aarhus University utilized the hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) process at its pilot plant in Denmark to produce the biocrude.

Air Products has plans to develop a new net-zero hydrogen energy complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The project is expected to capture over 95 % of the CO2 from the feedstock natural gas and store it safely under the earth.

Haldor Topsoe’s Tigas technology has been selected by Nacero for its Penwell facility in Houston, Texas, USA. With this technology, Nacero aims at reducing the lifecycle carbon footprint of its gasoline production.

Tidewater has chosen Topsoe’s Hydroflex and H2bridge technologies for its new renewable diesel facility in Canada which is expected to produce 3,000 barrels per day. Once completed, the project will be the country’s first commercial-scale stand-alone renewable diesel plant.

Haldor Topsoe and Nel have entered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the intent to offer customers complete renewable electricity to ammonia and methanol solutions.

The new green ammonia facility will make use of Haldor Topsoe’s proprietary solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC) to produce green hydrogen from 100 MWs of renewable electricity. The project is expected to be operational by 2024.
