Syngas Production Expansion Oxea Expands Production Capacity for Syngas in Texas
With a ten percent increase of it's Baytown Syngas facility, Oxea strengthens its production capacity for oxo-intermediates and oxo-derivatives.
Oberhause/Germany; Bay City, Texas/USA – Chemical company Oxea has recently increased the production capacity of a Syngas plant in Texan Bay City. The ten percent expansion aims to serve Oxea's strategy to gain additional market shares on the dynamic growth market of oxo-intermediates and oxo-derivatives, such as alcohols, polyols, carboxylic acids, specialty esters, and amines. Syngas is the main precursor for the production of oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives.
“At the current high demand for our oxo products, greater product availability will further lead to an improved level of service and supply security for our customers, both now and in the future,” said Miguel Mantas, Executive Board member for marketing and sales. “In doing so, Oxea is strengthening its leading global market position,” Mantas continued.
“Thanks to our extensive technological know-how and our experienced teams from engineering and production, this capacity expansion was implemented quickly and cost-effectively,” added Dr. Martina Flöel, spokesperson for the Executive Board and among others responsible for Global Operations.
