PROCESS: Mr. Ripsam, which new options does Conexo offer to its users?

Ripsam: As it will be possible to identify the defective components in the field electronically in future, this will accelerate the individual qualification phases. The documents and works certificates assigned to each component can be displayed electronically both uniquely and fast, and managed efficiently. The plant operator will have the option of simplifying maintenance schedules and processes.

PROCESS: Which concrete workflow changes and operation routine changes will be caused by the system for the operator?

Ripsam: Of course, groups of technicians armed with printed maintenance plans and maintenance logs will spread out in the plant to carry out the maintenance jobs there. Thanks to Conexo, maintenance logs need not be input manually; even wear and tear part evaluation will take place electronically and can therefore be assessed systematically. The complete management of components and maintenance assignments will take place over a portal. The maintenance order will be assigned to the maintenance technician electronically on his tablet, he will be able to identify the corresponding valves uniquely and carry out the maintenance job.

PROCESS: What is your technical vision of succeeding technologies?

Ripsam: Plant components are becoming more and more intelligent and networked. As a result, understanding of what exactly is suitable for a plant and how certain influence factors affect the shelf-life of components or wear and tear parts is also increasing. The inventory of individual wear and tear components can be determined with greater accuracy, so that the plants can be operated at the optimum level.
