Shanghai/China — The newly created “InnoPowder & Bulk Solids Corner” brings together selected top innovations from the sector on a special display area. In total, almost 200 exhibitors have registered in 2016. The trade fair combines a broad product range of processing technology for applications in a large number of sectors like chemicals and pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs production, glass and ceramics, energy generation and the non-metallic mineral segment. At the IPB, visitors can also find out about solutions for separating, pulverising, mixing, agglomerating, packing, handling and transport of bulk solids. The range of products on display in Shanghai is specifically tailored to the needs and growth sectors of the Asian market. This year, co-organisers Chinese Society of Particuology and NürnbergMesse China expect to welcome more than 7,000 visitors.
Platform for innovations
The accompanying conference comprises a whole series of technical seminars on the application of processing technology as well as regulations and safety provisions in production. Within this framework, INDEX e.V. will host a Safety Symposium on the subject of explosion protection. The programme also includes seminars on powder and particle processing in the pharmaceutical sector and on particle analysis. In the exhibition halls themselves the new special display area InnoPowder & Bulk Solids Corner is set to be a draw card for visitors. Situated not far from the main entrance, this is where selected product highlights from 10 Chinese and international companies will be on display.
More efficiency, altered market requirements
“To constantly optimise efficiency in production and at the same time develop new products to meet changing market needs, manufacturing companies require the latest process technologies,” says Helen Lin, Project Director IPB at NürnbergMesse China. “At IPB 2016 they will find all the innovations and expertise that they need. We look forward to once again welcoming to Shanghai a large audience of trade visitors and process experts.”
