Pharma Technology Innovation in Microsphere Formulation Processes
The Microsphere Refiner technology has been developed to address the growing demand for Microsphere formulation production – It also helps users to greatly reduce cost by using one piece of equipment instead of several process systems and sterile containment isolator.

Too Big? To Small? Just Right!
When producing Microspheres, pharmaceutical manufacturers need to classify the particles per size to only retain specific sizes for the final products. The particles must be between 5–25 μm up to 150 μm.

Too small or too large particles will not have the desired effect once injected in the blood stream. The Microspheres need to be then washed from the solvent and dry under restricted conditions and recovered. All these processes require sterile handling.
