Scope of project:

• Supply and installation of plant automation & electrification systems for expanding capacity of a sewage treatment plant in South India.

Solution provided:

• Expansion based on latest MBR technology secondary treatment.

• Supplied power solution packages (switchgear, low loss transformers, drives, APFC and DG sets) including energy efficiency low-voltage drives that enable critical parts of the process to operate at the highest levels of energy efficiency and reliability.

• ABB automation supplies include SCADA and programmable logic controller (PLC), historian, trending, alarm management and reporting systems.

• Remote PLCs for the pumping stations are connected to the main SCADA at STP via a GSM (global system for mobile communication) network.
