Conclusion

Guided Wave Radar technology has demonstrated significant advantages in a wide range of process applications, enabling more accurate, reliable and trouble-free measurement of liquid surface and interface levels. It is unaffected by changing density, temperature and pressure, as well as condensing vapors or liquid drops attached to the probe, and provides reliable measurement of turbulent, boiling liquid surfaces. It has also improved measurement reliability for low reflective products such as liquefied gases, and can provide reliable digital level and interface data in difficult cage applications.

GWR is a one-to-one replacement using existing chambers, keeping installation costs down. With no mechanical moving parts, more resistance to deposits and no recalibration, it can drastically reduce maintenance costs.
