A Complete Software Solution

Siemens’ Comos software concept is based on object orientation. Components are described holistically and displayed graphically in their true-to-life representation. The graphical representation and data from different disciplines (e.g. mechanical, electrical, etc.) for given equipment is represented as a single unit within the Comos database and it is referred as the object. The software enables engineering companies to work parallel in the different engineering disciplines, which saves valuable engineering time and delivers more accurate data.

Based on the engineering data operators plan and execute inspections, maintenance and shut downs. The data will be added to the same equipment in the same structure. Changes done in the field of operation will be tracked and update the plant data throughout the lifecycle.

Comos for Operators

All that an operator wants is a continuous and safe running plant as breakdowns cause huge liability cost or even harm people. Comos MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) encompasses the complete management, engineering and organisation of operation and maintenance, including plant documentation, in one system. Changes in the plant, due to service and maintenance, are directly available in the plant documentation. This solution enables to increase plant operating times while lowering costs at the same time.
