Dwyer Instruments has announced the release of additional ranges for the differential pressure transmitter, Series 629 HLP. The Series is ideal for monitoring differential pressure in applications such as: air handlers, heat exchangers, chillers, and hydraulic systems, states Dwyer Instruments.

The Series is a low differential pressure transmitter that is suitable for measuring overpressure or under-pressure conditions of compatible gases and liquids. Ranges are available up to 6 bar or 90 psi, all of which are accurate up to 1 % full-scale, mentions the firm.

This differential pressure transmitter is contained within an IP65 rated enclosure, providing a robust exterior. The compact and lightweight assembly features secure 304 SS process connections with options available in 1/4" NPT or BSPT. The integral dual pressure sensors are able to convert pressure into a customer-selected 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 VDC output signal.

According to the company, the Series allows improvement of measurement accuracy by detecting low pressure differential across low and high static pressure lines, up to 360 psi, providing the ability for the system to react quickly to changes. This reliability also makes this transmitter a great fit for OEMs providing additional safety in chillers.
