Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia and Dechema have jointly decided to postpone the first edition of Achema Middle East to 11 to 13 October 2027. The new venue is the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center in the Saudi capital. The decision was made in response to the ongoing uncertainty in the region, in consultation with local partners on the ground and exhibitors that had already registered. According to the organisers, the aim is to stage a trade fair debut of international significance in 2027 that reflects the region’s potential and gives exhibitors planning security. Alesya Deyanova, Show Manager, Achema Middle East, said: “Following consultation with our exhibitors, partners, government stakeholders and industry leaders, we have made the decision to move ACHEMA Middle East to October 2027. The revised dates will allow us to maximise industry participation and deliver the strongest possible debut edition from day one.”

According to Dechema, the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources also supports the decision and continues to view Achema Middle East as firmly aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the kingdom’s long-term agenda for industrial transformation.

The new venue at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center offers modern infrastructure and is strategically located near King Khalid International Airport. Visitors can also expect an extensive trade fair and conference programme focusing on six innovation themes in the areas of Process, Pharma, Lab, Digital, Green and Energy.

The innovation themes will highlight current developments and trends shaping the future of industry, including advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, industrial digitalisation, pharmaceutical technologies, laboratory automation, hydrogen, carbon management, circular economy initiatives and clean energy solutions.

Numerous international exhibitors and regional industry buyers have already confirmed their participation.
