ACHEMA 2012 ACHEMA 2012 a Huge Success for PROCESS
The 167,000 people who came through the doors at this year’s ACHEMA in Frankfurt between the 18th and 22nd of June 2012 may not have set any visitor attendance records, but the event organizers have every reason to be more than satisfied with the proportion of international exhibitors and trade visitors.
More than 5,000 trade visitors made their way to the PROCESS booth in the Hall 5.1/6.1 passage and took part in the European Soccer Championship raffle. “The rush of visitors was so great that our entire stock of 5,000 balls was gone after the third day,” reported PROCESS Editor-in-Chief and Group Publisher Gerd Kielburger. “The take-up for our trade media was huge and we were able to generate substantially more leads.”
News on all Channels
In addition to the official ACHEMA Daily trade show newspaper with a daily circulation of 100,000 (30,000 print and 70,000 ePaper) published in collaboration with the leading US trade publication Chemical Engineering, USA, PROCESS broadcast on LiveTV from the action hotspots on the first three days of the event.
PROCESS was accessed more than 13,000 times on LiveTV during the first three days of the show alone. Three PROCESS camera teams were out simultaneously conducting interviews with experts, exhibitors and visitors on current topics and reporting from the world’s largest chemical engineering event.
The Online Team also issued daily reports in German and English in the special ACHEMA newsletters. Last but not least, together with the affiliated brands LABORPRAXIS and PharmaTEC, PROCESS gave recognition to winners of the Innovation Award in eleven categories at an official ceremony on the second day of the show.
Naturally in the wake of the mega event, PROCESS will be publishing extensive reviews of the highlights, innovations, opinions and trends on all print and online channels, both domestic and international. There is much to look forward to.
