Louisville/USA — The manufacturer of molecular sieves announces that the line will double their capacity to produce adsorbents used in the production of oxygen for industrial and medical applications. Installation of the new equipment and expansion of the existing Louisville facility is underway, and start-up is expected in the fall of 2017, the company, which is a subsidiary of Swiss Chemie+Paper Holding, said.
“This investment allows Zeochem to continue providing our customers quality, state of the art, industry leading products. The plant expansion will give us more flexibility and capabilities to meet growing demands while expanding our position as a leader and innovator for industrial and medical oxygen adsorbents,” says Dr. Alois Waldburg-Zeil, CEO of Zeochem.
