Asia: Engineering Services Worley Parsons Receives EPC and PMC Contracts in China and Indonesia

Worley Parsons has been awarded a project management consultancy (PMC) contract by Persero in Indonesia and an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by Chevron for the China Manufacturing Plant Project in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China.

Sydney/Australia — Under the contract awarded by Persero, the company will provide PMC services for EPC Packages of Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) Project Refinery Unit V — Balikpapan in Indonesia.

With the RDMP program, the client expects to build new processing units for the existing RU V — Balikpapan Refinery and to expand the Refinery’s existing capacity to produce high quality fuel products. Pertamina also plans to upgrade the Lawe-Lawe terminal to include new facilities for unloading from tankers, a crude storage tank, utility units and a crude transfer line to RU V — Balikpapan Refinery.

The services will be executed by Worley Parsons Indonesia with support from our global offices.

Chevron China Chemicals Awards EPC Contract

Under the contract awarded by Chevron in China, the company will provide services including engineering, procurement, construction and pre-commissioning. The services will be executed by Worley Parsons China.

Chevron China Chemicals plans to build a wholly-owned plant manufacturing Oronite additives in Ningbo, China, a seaport city in northeast Zhejiang province.
